How do you establish credibility when taking over your father’s $800M manufacturing business? If you are Linda Hasenfratz, you start as a machine operator, work your way up to CEO, then increase the size of the business by more than 750%.

In addition to the practical skills gained from learning her business from the ground up, Hasenfratz holds an Honours Bachelor of Science degree and an Executive MBA from the Ivey School of Business, both at the University of Western Ontario.

Linda Hasenfratz is the Chief Executive Officer of Linamar Corporation, a diversified global manufacturing company whose engineered products power the automotive, agricultural and construction industries. A global business leader, she serves on numerous corporate and not-for-profit boards and around the world.

Hasenfratz was recently named chair of Next Generation Manufacturing (NGM) Canada, a coalition of more than 140 advanced manufacturing and technology companies and public-sector entities in the Toronto-Waterloo Corridor. She is an outspoken advocate for women in leadership positions in engineering and business.
